Austin Lightning Carrothers moved to NYC from the Hudson Valley in 2023 after several years spent developing a love for telling stories on stage and in film. After completing AADA’s Company Program led by Barbara Rubin, Austin immediately had the pleasure of performing Lungs at the Romanian Cultural Institute directed by Luana Maria Seu. After this, Austin joined Actors’ Equity Association and has been auditioning consistently. Austin had the pleasure of directing his first play at the Players Theater on MacDougal Street. Now Austin is working on a few short films, and is thrilled to be enrolled in Karl Bury’s scene study class.
